Renditioning and Print Tools

The automatic creation of a read-only rendition when a native file is checked-in to PLM or ECM is a server-based function that may not be included with the vendor's standard tool set. Gateway has developed a rendition server for the automatic creation of TIFF and PDF viewables.

Printing is a critical but often over-looked requirement of the PLM or ECM solution. Generally the key functions that are not satisfied out of the box are the ability to:

• Print, without viewing
• Batch print
• Add Watermarks to "Controlled Copies"

Gateway has developed print server functions that project teams can quickly leverage in the rollout of their PLM or ECM solution.
